WHEN:     30 January – 2 February 2013

WHERE:    BETT 2013, ExCeL London; Intel stand at B70

WHAT:      Intel showcases complete eLearning solutions that help improve student achievement

  • Hear how Intel® Education solutions promote learning through exploration and interpretation while ensuring ease of use and secure management for educators - via a full featured, open architecture and software application

The hardware is just the beginning
  • BETT 2013 will showcase Intel education solutions to include education-specific devices from our customers, the Intel® Education Software suite as well as future Intel tablet reference designs.  Applications from the Intel Education ecosystem members demonstrate how technology can engage students in science, technology, engineering and mathematics:
    • Intel Education Lab Camera by Intellisense: is a natural science application that spurs scientific inquiry using a tablet’s built-in cameras to help students explore the world around them through time-lapse photography, movement analysis, a microscope, and sensor input for colours and proximity
    • KNO: Designed specifically for education, this digital reader also takes advantage of embedded media, such as video, web links, interactive 3-D molecules, and a glossary.
    • Artrage: is a powerful painting and drawing tool enabling students to create digital artwork, with processes so intuitive that children focus on the art, not the technology
    • More details on demonstrations planned for BETT can be found at: http://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/intel-learning-series/bett-2013.html

INTERVIEWS:      John Galvin, General Manager of World Ahead, Intel Education, and other Intel education experts will be available for interviews. Please contact Intel PR for more details.

WHAT ELSE:  Intel and its partners will be hosting workshops throughout BETT 2013 on areas such as education project planning, implementing change, and to offer guidance on experience and best practice examples from across the world.
