Intel announced the introduction of eight new CPUs with extended lifecycle support featuring superior CPU, graphics and media performance and enhanced security. These platforms provide the features and performance to power the Internet-of-Things (IoT) and are ideal for retail, industrial, medical, digital security surveillance, aerospace and communications market segments.

  • Graphics and media improvements enable compelling visual experiences for digital signage, kiosks and Human Machine Interface (HMI) devices that display videos and 2D/3D graphics.
  • Enhanced Intel® AES-New instructions accelerates data encryption and decryption without slowing response times for applications like Digital Security Surveillance systems.
  • Enhancements in Intel® AVX deliver improved integer & floating point matrix-based calculation abilities for signal & image processing in medical, communications, avionics and weather applications.
  • The new processor family includes CPU + PCH in a single 15 Watt package enabling smaller form factor systems.
